• Second demo "Does it make a difference?" comes out.

1991:

Step Forward split up. 

• Dennis from Step Forward forms Refused.

1992:

Refused plays their first gig. 

• First demo "Refused" comes out. 

• Second demo "Operation headfirst" comes out. 

1993: 

• Debut MCD "This is the new deal" comes out. Released by Burning Heart Records

Refused signs a deal with the record label Startracks.

• Gigs with Shelter, Abhinanda, Doughnuts, Breach and others.

1994:

• CD-single "Pump the brakes" comes out. Released by Startracks and We Bite Records

• Debut full-length album "This just might be... the truth" comes out. Released by Startracks and We Bite Records

Refused does their first tour. 

• New MCD "Everlasting" comes out. Released by Startracks and We Bite Records

• Gigs with Mary Beats Jane, Randy, Abhinanda and others.

• Members of Refused forms the side-project Final Exit

1995:

• Nominated to the Swedish Grammy Award in the category "best alternative hardrock band" (they didn't win). 

• Split CD-single with Randy, "Refused loves Randy" comes out. Released by Startracks

• Gigs with 108, Purusam, Strife, Earth Crisis and others.

Refused side-project Final Exit's first album "Teg" comes out. Released by Desperate Fight Records

1996: 

• Second full-length "Songs to fan the flames of discontent" comes out. Released by Startracks, We Bite Records and Victory Records

• CDEP "Rather be dead e.p." comes out. Released by Startracks

• Nominated to the Swedish Grammy Award in the category "best alternative hardrock band" (they didn't win). 

• Gigs with Fireside, Entombed, Breach, Snapcase, Saidiwas and others. 

Step Forward discography CD "It did make a difference" comes out. Released by Desperate Fight Records

1997:

2000:

• Kristofer Steen announces that he is working on a DVD documentary about Refused

2004: 

• Re-issue of "Songs to fan the flames of discontent" (digitally remastered version) comes out. Released by Burning Heart Records and Epitaph.

• Re-issue of "The E.P. compilation" (digitally remastered version) comes out. Released by Burning Heart Records and Epitaph.

• Re-issue of "The shape of punk to come" (digitally remastered DVD-audio version + CD-version) comes out. Released by Burning Heart Records and Epitaph

"The shape of punk to come" DVD-audio version got Nominated for "Best Multichannel Reissue" for the Surround Music Awards in the US (it didn't win).

2006: 

• The DVD "Refused are fucking dead" made by Kristofer Steen finally comes out. Released by Burning Heart Records and Epitaph

2007: 

• Refused side-project Final Exit makes one reunion gig. 

Final Exit discography CD "Det egentliga västerbotten" comes out. Released by Mofab Teg Recordings

2008: 

• Re-press of "The shape of punk to come" LP-version comes out. Released by Epitaph

2009: 

• This site is celebrating 10 years on the net! 

• Deluxe re-issue of the Final Exit discography album "Det egentliga västerbotten" comes out. 2xLP+DVD including the reunion gig from 2007, the last gig from 1997 plus more live stuff on DVD. Released by Monument Records

2010: 

• Deluxe re-issue of "The shape of punk to come" comes out. 2xCD+DVD including the live CD "Live at Umeå Open 1998" and the DVD "Refused are fucking dead". Released by Epitaph
