Formed in January 2007, not only to entertain but also provoke critical thought and inspire action ANCHOR threw themselves into the fray on a 16 day parade through nothern europe with Germany's finest, RITUAL only two months after the bands birth. Musically ANCHOR is seeking to find the energy and inspiration bands they grew up listening to had. Bands like ABHINANDA, UNBROKEN, SHIELD and EARTH CRISIS to name a few of many. The outcome can be seen as a natural extension of how all of them are activists in one sense or the other.
